یکی از خاطرات جالبی که می‌توان در این مجموعه نوشته‌ها از آن یاد کرد کارت دعوت نمایشگاه بود. در آن زمان یکی از ملزومات برگزاری نمایشگاه آماده سازی و چاپ کارت دعوت و پوستر نمایشگاه بود و مثل این روزها نبود که توسط گالری انجام شود. درواقع این قسمت به‌عهده‌ی خود هنرمند بود. با توجه به این‌که مجتبی در آن دوران حدودا 850 دانش آموز داشت وافتتاحیه رویداد (همکلاسی‌های من ) در اواسط تابستان بود که از نظر زمانی مدت زیادی از حال و هوای مدرسه دور بود نوع انگیزه ی دعوت مدعوین متفاوت بود، به‌همین

خاطر هنرمند تصمیم بر این گرفت که برای متفاوت‌تر شدن فرایند اعلام و دعوت نمایشگاه نقاشی همکلاسی‌های من از تصاویر آثار حاضر در مجموعه بهره‌مند شود و با این کار علاوه بر دعوت و خبر رسانی نمایشگاهش، یک یادگاری برای دعوت شده‌ها بر جای بگذارد.
و تصمیمی متفاوت و غیرمعمول گرفت
در بخش اول استرس خاصی در هنرمند ایجاد شد، از این رو که این اتفاق می‌توانست یک کار خودپسندانه قلمداد شود و ناگفته نماند که اطرافیان او نیز به آن دامن زدند. وقتی پوستر و کارت دعوت آماده شد و به چاپ رسید، با توجه به این‌که عکس خود هنرمند روی کارت دعوت بود بازخورد جالبی از هنرجویانش داشت. آن‌ها از استاد خود درخواست می‌کردند تا برایشان آن‌را امضا کند و مجتبی رستمی هم همراه با یک متن زیبا برای آن‌ها این کار را انجام می‌داد. کم‌کم کارت دعوت بین دیگر همکاران در مدارس هم مورد بحث قرار گرفت و آن‌ها نیز علاقه‌مند بودند که یک کارت با امضای هنرمند داشته‌باشند. پوستر این نمایشگاه متفاوت از کارت دعوت بود و طرحی از جمع دانش آموزان روی آن کار شده بود که خود این حرکت رویداد را جذاب‌تر کرده‌بود.

collection, and with this, in addition to the invitation and announcement of his exhibition, a
memento for the invitees instead put.
In the first part, a certain stress was created in the artist. Therefore, this incident could be
considered a selfish act, and it goes without saying that the people around him also
mentioned the same. When the poster and invitation card were prepared and printed,
considering that the artist's photo was on the invitation card, he had an interesting feedback
from his students. They asked their teacher to sign it for them, and Mojtaba Rostami did it
along with a beautiful text. Little by little, the invitation card was discussed among other
colleagues in the schools and they were also interested in having a card signed by the artist.
The poster of this exhibition was different from the invitation card, and a design by all
.students was worked on it, which made the movement of the event more attractive .
